I am a white, queer, Jewish, cisgender woman. I am also a partner, daughter, sister, chosen family member, friend, educator, food lover, home cook, and amateur gardener. I love reading cookbooks in bed, dancing, hiking, building fires, and gathering in community. I work hard to continue my personal growth, deepen my understanding of myself, establish connections with community, and be accountable to the larger systems at play. I believe holding humor, being authentic, staying curious, acting bravely, and being willing to try doing things differently are keys to living a full and healthy life.
I was born, raised, and currently live on the unceded land of the Coast Salish and Duwamish people in Seattle, WA, and I pay Real Rent to the Duwamish Tribe in acknowledgment of this truth. My commitment to social justice and equity is central to both my personal and professional life. I’ve trained with the Center for Equity and Inclusion and continue to examine how systems of oppression shape the lives and health of all of us.
